Style has always been second nature to me and instead of following the educational route, I leapt straight in to full time work in Finance. Having spent the past 6 years putting all my spare time in to Fashion, I now work as a Wardrobe Assistant & Marketing manager.
After graduating from the London College of Style with a Diploma in Fashion and Personal Styling, I decided to pursue my love for styling and set up my own business as a Fashion & Personal Stylist.
As the proud Editor of www.chiqueuniquecritique.com, I have created Fashion and Lifestyle content as well as attended inspiring press days and events for brands such as ASOS, Next, TK Maxx and JustFab to name a few. I have also collaborated on events with local shopping centres including West Quay, Festival Place, The Swan Centre and The Lexicon. With a love for live fashion, I have worked with and assisted a selection of industry professionals behind the scenes at London Fashion Week, The British Fashion Awards and Brides The Show.
For me, style is certainly not dictated by budget. Regardless of whether you love high street or high fashion, you can look fabulous, simply by wearing the right clothes for your body shape, identifying the colours that suit your skin tone and learning how to accessorise effectively. All of which help to create a wardrobe that is filled with stylish pieces and beautiful accessories for every occasion.
Working within the fashion industry and assisting on shoots has allowed me to work with a wide range of body shapes, from catwalk models to the everyday woman and I get an immense sense of fulfilment from making people feel good about themselves.
